Thomas “Tom” Huddle
I am an academic clinician doing scholarly work in medical education, clinical ethics and bioethics. I was trained as a historian as well as in medicine and came to more philosophical interests relatively late. My medical interests include clinical learning, the normative standards governing medical practice and the many forces subverting thoughtful medical practice in contemporary America. My ethical interests include especially end of life ethics, the sources of clinical ethics and the relationship of medicine to society.
